FavorsMy fiance is a bit of a card trick nut and he remembered seeing this video when we were at Hobby Lobby searching for card stock. My original plan was to use the card stock to make favor boxes, which I already know how to do.
But he suggested this, which is easy, uses no tape or glue, and really screams out his name. Not only does it make sure some of his personality is in the wedding, but it helped me clear out all of the old pieces of decks that were laying around his room. We’ve started working on these, and I love them even if they don't match anything. We have all of the boxes made and ready to fill with hershey's kisses. I'll line the boxes with a cupcake wrapper, just in case the candy melts. I'm buying the candy after Easter when it'll be on sale and keeping it in the freezer until I need it. Right now we're working on making lids for all of the boxes and I'll tie them in with everything else by tying a green or yellow ribbon around each one with a tag that says thank you. The tutorial we used is to the right. |
