A simple white church weddingFor pew decorations, we're alternating with paper luminaries and for the others we're painting some dollar store picture frames white, putting a picture of us in it and hanging them from the pews with wide green ribbon. I'm not having an aisle runner. Tiny white paper hearts will be dropped by my flower girls out of little metal pails.
I'm DIYing my programs which can be seen here and I'm also making activity books for our younger guests which are here. I love kids and I definitely want all of them there, but I want them to be quiet during the ceremony, so they're getting coloring books, crayons, and some stickers. If you want to read the draft of our ceremony wording, go here. See our flower info here. |
MusicThe music will be provided by a trio of Steven's friends from orchestra. They'll play traditional prelude music, and one of them will be playing a piano and violin version of The Luckiest by Ben Folds for when I walk down the aisle.
This is the version that we're using, although it's not our video. Video by artifex85 on Youtube. |
